The Then Faded Love

Thugten Dorji Drukpa/ Denmark
She left her footsteps down the stairs of my life
Shading the scandalous love in my little innocent heart
Without feeling guilty and mercy and of the sort,
Just I saw her faster than I had ever suspected her.

Thence, no sooner had she gone out of my sight
Than I stared down her way and dared follow her
But when I stepped my feet forward towards her,

Right then I was bound to be blind, deaf, and dumb.

Since then, loneliness has become a part of my life,
And mere silence has become a passion of my delight.
So I loathe her despite every man is born from woman,
And want to be untouched with those stony hardships.

The then faded love of mine hasn’t yet bloomed.
And I’m as I was then and shall always remain so
For the heart of my dream has been ruined
And nothing is left in my life but a desperate heart.
